On Holy Thursday, in the Spring of 1922, the sound of IRA revolvers rang through the streets of New York City. Patrick 'Cruxy' O'Connor is lying on the intersection of 84th Street and Central Park West as screaming crowds gather around him.

In an epic story of alliance, betrayal and family feud, three Cork IRA men sail across the Atlantic Ocean to track down an informer and avenge their dead comrades.

A story that is often forgotten, but more commonly not known, the Ambush at Central Park, NYC, is one of the craziest stories to come out of the 2.5 year Irish War of Independence, and the only sanctioned IRA ambush to ever take place in the United States of America.

Davy never disappoints. I just read a book on this topic recommended on another Irish History podcast but I bought this knowing Davy always covers this period so well,
